Our Story:
Leo’s Overhead Doors is a family run corporation founded in 1966 by Swiss immigrant Leo and his wife Beatrice. They recognized a need for such a company and opened the doors under the influence of a few simple guidelines:
Stay true to the customer by providing products that are superior in quality, safety, and value.
Recognize that our customers are intelligent consumers who have a good idea of what they want. If we listen, we will get it right.
Understand that our ongoing success is dependent upon repeat business. The bottom line is customer satisfaction, not simply the lowest up-front price.
Leo & Beatrice, Founders
Leo and Beatrice turned the business over to their son John and his wife Lorraine in 1984. Prior to his acquisition, John was an apprentice of his father as he learned the mechanics of door repair and the logistics of management. Lorraine was taught the aspects of running a corporation from Beatrice. Although times have changed since the inception of Leo’s, John and Lorraine still continue with the founding principals.
Leo’s servicemen are dedicated to the industry with a minimum of 15 years experience. They have been providing prompt and professional service 24 hours a day for the last 43 years. NO subcontractors are used. We get the job done efficiently and correctly the first time, saving YOU time and money. Don’t just take our word for it: let us prove it to you! Our family would like to thank you for supporting our business through these past 43 years. Leo’s Overhead Doors has been able to continue the tradition of personalized service in which the customer comes first. Times continue to change since Leo’s beginnings in the 60’s, but our founding principals have remained the same.
Since they opened their doors in 1966, my parents Leo and Beatrice established a strong client base built upon reputation and customer loyalty. Lorraine and I took over the business in 1984. We have continued in the tradition of providing excellent service to the Capital district community, and we are proud to announce that our son Eric is now working for Leo’s, making this the third generation operating this business.
We have a strong and positive outlook for the future, and it is our goal to continue to provide our time-honored practices and exceptional services to you our customers.
